BP claims administrator Ken Feinberg has just announced that 2,500 casino claims will be processed beginning next week.

Feinberg’s Gulf Coast Claims Facility, which is administering claims for personal and businesses losses due to the oil catastrophe, has been working on a methodology for adjusting casino claims. Hundreds of casino claims were previously denied, but Feinberg has been working with state and local politicians and officials to better determine potential lost wages suffered by casino workers.

Read more about the casino claims in Saturday’s Sun Herald.
