Casino revenues appear to be bouncing back from the snow slump experienced in January, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported Thursday.

Gross revenues on slot machines rose to $198 million in February from $177 million the month before, according to the state. Slot revenues for February were up 17 percent from that same month the year before.

Parx Casino reported more than $30 million in gross revenues and it remained the top grossing slots operation in the state. Of those gross revenues more than $16 million was taxed.

Winter storms kept players away from the casinos in January, causing a 4 percent drop in gross slots revenue throughout the state, the head fo the gaming control board reported last month.
