PARIS—French retailer Casino-Guichard Perrachon SA said Tuesday its full-year net profit slipped 7% as it cut prices in France to bolster sales, a move that weighed on margins.

Net profit fell to €550 million ($758.9 million) from €591 million as Casino cut prices both at its large French hypermarket stores and at discount
