Man charged with robbing casino - Great Falls Tribune

A Great Falls man was arrested Sunday night, charged with robbing a 10th Avenue South casino.

The bizarre series of events began when a man walked into Salad Creations at 4:41 p.m., his head bleeding and asking for help because hed been in a car crash.
Before officers could arrive at restaurant

at 9th Street and 10th Avenue South, the man left.Minutes later two blocks away, a man of the same description threatened a Palace Casino employee with a weapon and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police Officer Jerald Glass spotted the Silver Dodge pickup with a topper in the Holiday Village Mall a half hour later.The passenger, Joseph Strieby, 40, matched the description of the suspect. He was booked in the Cascade County jail on one count of felony robbery.For more on this story read tomorrows Great Falls Tribune.
