WAYLAND TOWNSHIP – Traffic is moving freely after police officers blocked ramps from U.S. 131 and limited access to sections of 129th Avenue near the new Gun Lake Casino on Friday, according to the Allegan County Sheriff Department.

On Friday, hundreds of

people either gave up after hearing about a potentially hours-long wait at the$157 million casino, or were turned away by authorities. By noon, the casino was at capacity and its 2,500 parking spaces were filled.
