Police are looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of a Butte

casino.

Police were dispatched to the Sunken Treasure Casino at 2902 Harrison Avenue on a report of an armed robbery Tuesday at 9:20 p.m., according to Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff John Walsh. Walsh said that an employee reports a man entered the casino and demanded money. The man reportedly gave the clerk the impression he had a weapon in his possession. The clerk handed over a undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register. The suspect was last seen leaving the casino going south toward the Butte Plaza Mall. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20's. He stands approximately 5'2" and weighs 175 pounds. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and a dark bandana over his face. Anyone with information is asked to call Butte police at 497-1120 or Crimestoppers at 782-7336.
