A new vending machine in Las Vegas will now sell you bricks of gold. The “Gold-to-Go” vending machine at the Golden Nugget Casino sells the bars for as low as $60 a brick, and casino operators
The machine is only second in this country, the first debuting in Florida and the machine will sell you gold bars and coins. Customers can choose a single gram bar to a 1-ounce coin. Prices automatically adjust themselves every 10-minutes to reflect actual market value. A 1-ounce coin could actually be worth about $1,400. Operators of the vending machine in Florida said they have to refill the machine almost every 3 days.
The vending machine only accepts cash. And for those thinking of pulling a Grinch and stealing the machine, beware— the machine is gold plated, bolted to the ground, and quite impossible to move.
