The Hollywood Casino Perryville generated more than $6.5 million in December, 14 percent less than November revenue.

The average machine during the month, the casino’s third full month of operation, brought in $140.58 per day. By comparison, the Cecil County slots parlor’s 1,500 machines each raked in an average $168.64 per day in November and nearly $245

per day during October.

Casino officials have said they expected revenue to taper off and plateau after the facility’s Sept. 30 opening. Since then, the casino has brought in $27.6 million.

Here's a breakdown of where the $27.6 million generated to date has been dispersed:

• Education Trust Fund: $13.4 million

• Hollywood Casino: $9.1 million

• Horse racing purses: $1.9 million

• Local governments: $1.5 million

• Racetrack renewal: $690,000

• Slots administration: $552,000

• Small, minority and women-owned businesses: $414,000
