Masked gunman robs northern Nevada casino - Las Vegas Sun

Northern Nevada police and sheriff's deputies are looking for a masked gunman who made off with more than $11,000 from a casino cashier in Silver Springs.

the gunpoint robbery happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday at the Silver Strike Casino on Highway 50 East.

Surveillance video shows the man getting out of a white four-door sedan before going to the cashier, showing a gun, tossing a black money satchel to the cashier and demanding money.

The robber was described as a white male with a "younger voice," wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, dark jeans and dark gloves along with a black ski mask.

Silver Springs is between Dayton and Fallon east of Carson City.
